We're super close to Te Papa, Courtenay Place, and the Wellington waterfront, so it's easy to explore the city on foot. We have room types to suit all travellers including plenty of private and ensuited facilities. All guests can enjoy our fully-equipped kitchens, TV lounges, bike storage, and 5GB free WiFi per day.
Our Front Desk hours are 9 am to 5 pm.
Check-in is from 2 pm onwards.
If you are arriving earlier you're welcome to store your luggage and hang out with us in our communal areas. Free WiFi, tea, and coffee! We recommend booking the night prior if you are arriving in the early morning, please check availability and amend your booking online.
If you are arriving after our Front Desk is closed, no problem! We will send you self-check-in information on the day of your arrival, or alternatively, we have a Night Manager who will be here to help you.
We do offer luggage storage (free of charge) on site, please ask our friendly staff at the hostel.
Our hostel is strictly non-smoking.
The guest can cancel free of charge until 1 day before arrival. The guest will be charged the cost of the first night if they cancel within 1 day before arrival.

I was there for three days, and the accessible bathroom (which my room was right next to) wasn't cleaned during that entire time. I wouldn't be surprised if it had been much longer since it was cleaned - mold was growing everywhere. My room seemed reasonably clean but I'm not 100% clear on whether the blankets are washed between guests. Common areas were crowded and the kitchen area was full of flies.

Good location and good staff. The rooms are typical YHA rooms, so no need to say too much on those. The kitchen is probably the worst YHA kitchen ive seen. The bathrooms suck as well. x1 toilet and x2 showers per floor isnt ideal. Its a convenient stay, but its very different to other YHA hostels in my opinion.
