This is a very good basic hostel. Nothing fancy, but it has all the things a traveler needs, such as a bed, showers, laundry, restaurant, free breakfast. It’s within ten minutes walk of the Metro and a half hour Metro ride from the downtown tourist area. I would stay here again if I just need a badic place to stay.

Good basic hostel for stopover as you pass through Paris - or stay a few days.... especially if your train comes in late to Gare de Lyon. Offers a welcome basic free breakfast. Claims to include free wifi but reception very poor - even at 6.00am on Sun morn when presumably most are asleep. So in reality it 'doesn't' include free wifi. More generally it is worth staying here and having booked in advance I paid only 65 Euros for private room in mid July. 10 mins walk from Porte de Montreuil metro.

The hostel felt like a prison and my girlfriend didn’t have a good stay in the female only dorms. She got placed right next to the door so she got woken up through the night. At one point in the early hours of the morning two women arrived and brought a man into the female only dorm! She felt so uncomfortable the rest of the stay. Rooms are dirty and so are the shower stalls in the hallway and bedrooms. Wouldn’t stay again with it being so far away from the centre of Paris. We couldn’t even use the bar on o
