Ashfield House is in the very centre of Dublin, between Trinity College and O’Connell St. Our visitors have said this ‘excellent location’ makes the hostel a ‘very handy little place to crash after a night in Temple Bar’. This ‘perfect home away from home’ has ‘friendly and helpful’ staff who ‘go out of their way’ to help, plus free luggage storage, a ‘delicious and filling’ breakfast and an ‘’eat me I\'m free\' cabinet’ in the kitchen. We like their daily walking tours of Dublin.
Property Description
Ashfield Hostel is Dublin's most centrally located hostel. We're just one minute's walk to Trinity College, Temple Bar and O'Connell Street as well as bus stops to the airport, ferry terminal, Guinness Storehouse and Heuston Station.
All rooms are ensuite, from private rooms to our multi-bedded rooms.
We have free guided walking tours of Dublin city every day, plus a ton of other free stuff, such as free Wi-Fi (lobby and rooms), and free city maps and guides. There's also safety deposit boxes , vending machine and a fully-equipped kitchen.
We're open 24/7, with check-out time of 10.30am.
Please note that children under 16 are not permitted to sleep in shared dorms. 9 night maximum stay.
Please note that when making a booking for a dormitory that we will try to keep your group together but we cannot guarantee that your group will all be in the same room.

Overall wasn’t awful but if you need to do any work the Wi-Fi here was unusable! The shower doesn’t stay one temp it goes from super hot to super cold. The elevator was super sketch too. The actual rooms and location were pretty good! Rooms only started to feel small when we had several guests with large suitcases.

Unbeatable location in the heart of the city; all the best sights and restaurants were within 5-25 minutes at most. The staff were very helpful and shared fantastic recommendations and helpful advice with respect to public transportation and general info. The rooms themselves are a bit lackluster, however: poorly insulated windows (probably due to the building's old age), comically small showers and short bunk beds (hard to sit up). The room was orderly though, so overall a good choice.

Ci rivolgiamo a tutte le etá - escursionisti, gruppi scolastici e universitari, famiglie, coppie - Offriamo un gratuito tour a piedi ogni mattina, un giro dei bar serale che parte dall\'ostello e DVD e videogiochi gratuiti. L\'edificio é dotato di ascensore e il nostro fantastico, amichevole, esperto e bellissimo personale é lieto di aiutarvi in caso di necessitá. Dispensano sempre tantissimi consigli; io personalmente raccomando sempre ai nostri ospiti di vistare il \'Book of Kells\' al Trinity College e la Biblioteca.
