Dutchies is a modern, recently built hostel in Amsterdam. The hostel is located on the ground floor of a building with student houses. The location is in the west of Amsterdam and is close to Amsterdam Sloterdijk, which has great bus, tram and metro connections. Dutchies has big, comfortable rooms that are beautifully decorated. The entire hostel is decorated with graffiti which gives Dutchies a modern look.
Our guests can use our kitchen to make their own meals. We offer free coffee and tea and other items for cooking. Towels can be rented for €3.00.
Dutchies has an eatery, a TV room, two lounges, and a terrace. We also offer bicycle rental, bicycle storage, public transportation tickets, tickets for museums and several attraction, free city maps, laundry service for €8.00, and parking for €15.00 per day.
The city center, museum district, and other attractions are a 15-20 minute tram ride away. From Schiphol Airport it takes about 20 minutes to get to us.
There is an option to rent a bike at the reception for 16 euro for 24 hours. We offer many more amenities as well.

PROS - super comfy mattress, power sockets near bed, small lockers under beds, locks provided, nice hangout spaces, great kitchen, next to a Lidl
CONS - really far away, not a lot of space for bags, wifi was temperamental at times but I think they got someone to fix it, for the price I would have liked more social events especially for pride (it’s more of a chill out hostel vibe)

I really enjoyed my stay at Dutchies hostel! Easy enough to get to town via public transport and you could buy passes at reception which was handy. One of the cleanest hostels I’ve stayed at too! really good vibes and the drinks at the bar was cheap - definitely recommend :)
